Mark LeGuerrier has more than 20 years' experience in high tech, having delivered and managed IT solutions for a wide variety of industries. In addition to supporting Validian's current product focus, Mark is responsible for extending the company's industry-leading technology to secure new application areas such as VoIP and digital content streaming.

Mark's wide ranging knowledge spans all facets of IT solutions and, over the years, he has developed particular expertise in the areas of information management, security technologies and systems integration. Prior to joining Validian, he ran his own high tech consulting company and held senior-level technical and managerial positions with global organizations such as IBM, NCR and AT&T. At IBM, his leadership role included mentoring IBM's architects. Mark was also a senior member of Mitel Networks' research and development organization, where he led several product development initiatives for VoIP applications. Mark has developed architectures for public- and private-sector organizations such as Human Resources Development Canada, Health Canada and the Ottawa Heart Institute, as well as for a major Canadian bank and an airline.
