With 21 years' experience in senior finance positions, Ron Benn brings to Validian extensive public-capital market expertise in Canada, the United States and Europe. He has wide-ranging executive-level financial and operational experience in advanced-technology companies and a variety of other industries, and has implemented operational "best practices" to achieve key performance goals. Mr. Benn has also organized liquidity events, including reverse takeovers, mergers, and sales of assets and share blocks.

Experienced in all aspects of finance, facilities, human-resources and information-technology management, Mr. Benn has played integral roles in the development and implementation of objectives and strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. Co-founder of two successful companies, Mr. Benn is also expert at defining market opportunities and crafting strategies that position companies as market leaders.

A Chartered Accountant, Mr. Benn holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Science from Carleton University.
